Its easy to craft any post however you'd like: attach a shared photo album to a post, or add a task list to your event
With Forms, gathering information from your group members has never been easier. With an easy-to-view results page, you now have the information at your fingertips. From there, you can generate a PDF and print from your phone. This is especially helpful with registration, merchandise orders, and post-event surveys.
Kohort gives group owners the option to post as the voice of the group or themselves. For example, posts such as upcoming schedule and photo albums fit nicely under the group voice whereas commenting on a post is more appropriate coming from the individual.
Want to get a steer from your membership on an open question? Kohort allows you to easily create polls which can help guide operations on key issues.
Kohort allows you to attach a task list to any post. You can even assign blocks of time to the tasks. And if you need to assign tasks to specific members, just left-swipe the task. Also easy to undo these assignments if things change.
RSVPs and Availability extend to both players and all group members. So you can now have an accurate player headcount for tomorrow's game, but also a headcount for the end-of-year BBQ that includes everyone (players, parents, coaches, etc.).
Great for scheduling practices. In a single event post, you can enter every practice for the entire season. You also have the ability to edit them all at once or one at a time. Kohort makes scheduling recurring events easier and more intuitive than even stand-alone calendars.
Want to give important posts more prominence? Now you can by pinning posts to the top of your feed. And since the pins are present every time you open the app (until you unpin), we’ve truncated the post so it’s there without overwhelming your feed.
Attachments are easy to add to any post. Just hit the plus button when creating a post, select ‘Attachment’, and then add that important file to your post.
Looking to keep a close eye on the weather before your upcoming family bar-b-que or multi-day trip? Our weather predictor shows up on any event post three days out from the actual event. This helps with general planning, travel, and any last minute changes that need to be taken in consideration.
For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned. Kohort gives you all the tools to earn you days.
Notify members of important information with push notifications, in-app alerts, or emails. If an event is cancelled due to poor weather, you can easily notify everyone with the push of a button. Advanced users can target mass communications across a matrix of sister groups and their respective subgroups.
While the universal feature set is plenty for most groups, Kohort also gives admins the ability to add new features to their group. Features range from Celebrations (upcoming birthdays, graduations, & anniversaries) to In-Memoriam (preserving the history and photos of past members).
Create personal or professional profiles to suit each group. Customize which notifications and alerts you receive separately for each group that you’re a member of. You also control how much or how little personal contact information you want to make available on a group-by-group basis.
A robust member directory starts with knowing who belongs to your group and how to contact them, especially when some members may not be in your address book. Kohort captures all the key member details which are easy to update in your profile settings.
Everyone needs help running a group. Kohort lets you easily promote members to admin status to help manage operations. And when it comes time for a change of guard, you can promote others to co-owner status and then step down when you’re ready.
Kohort provides a full-featured, robust, multi-person chat experience. You can chat 1:1, with multiple people, or group chat with all members. This is especially helpful when you’re trying to coordinate an activity with contacts not in your address book.
Subgroups allows admins to parse communications into smaller groups within the larger group. Communications can now be appropriately tailored to cut down the noise. Kohort knows there are plenty of times when you want to reach a subgroup of the wider program and now you can.
In much the same way subgroups make group communication more efficient, sister groups do so on a larger scale. If you oversee your group’s local chapter, but looking to connect with a sister chapter, you can now connect the groups. This is especially helpful with cross-chapter initiatives like fund-raising and recruiting.
Looking to create a splinter group, a temporary group, or repurpose a group of similar nature? Kohort makes it easy to copy your existing group and membership into a new one.
Share meaningful moments, big wins, and silly pets with the wider family
Never miss another birthday, anniversary, graduation, or other important celebration again. Keep on top of your most important dates, helping you stay closer to those who matter most.
We love our pets and they need a special home on Kohort too. So we created a place whe you can share cute cat photos, comment on adorable dog posts, or scroll through a pet directory of all your favorite (furry, feathered or scaly) friends.
In Memoriam is the place to remember and celebrate loved ones. Whether you’re a family, alumni association, or other group looking to remember past members, you can now preserve their history. Share your favorite photos and memories as well as the heartfelt remarks made at the time of passing.
Are all your best keepsakes buried away in your attic collecting dust? With keepsakes, all your greatest historical content – old photos, degrees, letters, and other family heirlooms – will be preserved and featured in this digital scrapbook.
Whether you're an organized team playing at a high-level, a casual group playing pickup, a competitive marching band or an academic team entering bowls, Kohort has what you need.
Get a quick snapshot of your team results, full schedule and upcoming matchups, sorted by subgroups (e.g., Varsity, JV, Frosh) so you can easily find the information you’re looking for.
When you attach a location to a game or practice post, it's automatically geo-coded. So just tap the location icon and it takes you right to your driving directions.
Rosters are built to be as self-service as a coach wants them to be. We’ve eliminated a lot of the data entry by allowing parents and players to create a roster spot, or attach themselves to an existing one, as they join the team. Coaches can edit, delete, and merge any roster entry at any time.
Access key contact information at any time. When a player is selected from either the Team Roster or RSVP, you get both the player and parents’ information. Great for carpooling or any communications that don’t need to involve the entire team.
When the seasons over and you’re ready to move on, Kohort lets you easily roll one season into the next, preserving your most important content (posts, game results, old rosters, etc.), making the transition to the new season seemless for team members.
If you’re a high school sports program, Kohort lets you create Varsity, JV, and Freshman subteams within the larger group. This is especially useful when you want to look at rosters or game schedules / results by team. Subteams are also helpful at the youth level when junior programs get divvied up by grade or talent level.
Easily compose and share everything needed to have a perfect meeting, whether in-person or virtual.
Easily share information about a featured book, the venue, and all key event details all in one location. Include RSVPs to get accurate head counts, task lists if it’s bring-your-own, and any important messages from the host.
Does your Book Club’s master list of past books live in an excel spreadsheet with your group organizer? Kohort keeps a record of all your past books, including any discussion topics, ratings, and reviews, in one central archive.
Kohort increases engagement and fosters discussion by providing the ability to rate and review your books, both past and present. You can now see how books performed and which were favorites of the group.
Discussion topics help the moderator navigate conversations about the book. Hosts and members can suggest or comment on discussion topics before, during or after your Book Club meeting.
